Wilson Black biography:

Wilson Black is a lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley.  He established his professional photography practice in 1994 after enjoying many years as an award-winning amateur.

Wilson earned his professional certification at the Hallmark Institute of Photography.  In addition, he has studied at Kutztown University, Antonelli Institute of Art & Photography, and New York's International Center of Photography.  Wilson continues his education attending numerous professional seminars each year.

Wilson serves on the Advisory Council at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute and the Advisory Board at Antonelli Institute of Art & Photography.  Wilson has also been selected to judge at the 2007 Skills USA State Championships.

Numerous community service and non-profit organizations benefit from Wilson's contributions.  Included among these 30+ groups are the American Red Cross, WLVT-39 Public Television, Celtic Cultural Alliance, and KidsPeace, to name just a few.  He is also an active participant in the State Theatre's Freddy Awards, where he provides comprehensive photographic coverage of the entire event, from press conference through post-show activities.  Each year, Wilson's contributions exceed $25,000 in value.

Wilson's other interests include motorsports, aviation, cooking and the performing arts.  He has an extensive musical background, including an appearance as guest conductor of the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra.
